Default Big Big Thank You Kev Allen

Hi Kev,

Just got back from Lindholme, a great day out and very well organised event for a very deserved caused. Although the fishing was a little down on some of the lakes but no more than can be expected with the number of anglers participating and the recent spawn. Met up with PolePot (Neil) came and had a chat for 1/2 hour nice to put a face to a name very nice guy indeed. had a look for you Simon but to no avail also any other T/A members should I have overlooked then my sincere appologies. I drew beech lake and fished peg 27 for 12lb 14oz it was a struggle.

Well done again Kev another top class performance by you.

Kev, what a fantastically well organised match - thanks for a great day out, even though the fishing wasn't brilliant. I had Laurels 49 and weighed 19lb 10oz - should have done better really but was more interested in getting bites than sitting for lumps.

Good to meet all you lads from the site and a big thumbs up to all of you who travelled so far to be there on the day, especially Curtains who got up at 2am having had his tackle nicked last week.

I think on the day there was about £6000 raised and this will grow as more sponsorship money comes in.

Well done Kev you are a star.

Drew Laurels 44 and had a tough day, didn't bother weighing but estimate I had somewhere between 10-12lb of silvers but enjoyed the day. Thanks!!!

I decided to have a ride over to watch the weigh in and hopefully meet a few T/A members. Set the satnav up and set off, a pleasant drive until I came off the motorway, the satnav said "take the first exit off the roundabout" which I did, then 1/2 a mile up the road it said "you have reached you're destination" . Anyway, 45 minutes and about 15 miles later I found the place and got meself a cheeseburger. I walked round looking for T/A shirts and the first one I saw was belonging to weldec, a very nice chap. We had a chat and he said that he was struggling and it wasn't fishing well but just before the all out he netted a small carp.

After the gun went off I rang simon to find out where he was, apparently I had walked past him twice, I was looking for a bloke with glasses on but he was in disguise and was wearing contacts . Whilst looking for him I found rive t, he was waffling on about somebody who had DNW , sorry mate, can't get my head round that brummie accent lol
Then I found Simon, he was just across the lake from rive t and I only noticed him because of his shirt, weird init trying to find an internet face, especially when they seem not to want to be seen

Anyway, later on I found leigh66 (ok, he found me), curtains and sumo, complete tangler, mpo38, and another bloke, who's name I didn't catch. It looked like it had been a great day and everyone was in good spirits and complimenting Kev on his achievement.
Nice to meet you all
