right guys i am a bit sort of "old school" and always used rod and line for carp, obviously now a lot of people are using pole, my question is when fitting elastic to power top two's how do you gauge how tight or how slack your elastic should be?, i am fitting one set with 12 elastic and the other set with 14 elastic.thanks Neil.

Neil when you elasticate the pole use a bung with a winder on it so you can set it either tight or so that it just creeps back in. When you play fish at the venue you can then adjust the elastic so you can get fish in quickly without bumping or pulling out.
