Question Cupping kit

Never used or made up a cupping kit before.

Can someone tell if I glue the cup adaptor in place or should it just sit tightly in the pole section???

Hi Jazz man,
The screw adapter on mine is araldite on to the end so it cannot twist off, the cup then screws onto this.
All the best Mike.

i clued mine before but then i wanted to use the kit for margin work and i couldn't so i would just make sure it is on tightly.
but its down to personal choice really.

i push mine on only......but sometime when you go to empty the pot out with a ball of ground bait it just spins...so maybe the answer is to glue...but seems sort of final then

I can only use swinger cups so I just use a spare power x2 I've not got set up.

Are the ones any good that are fitted onto the top joint by elastic ?

A dedicated cupping kit is best with the threaded adapter glued in place with a tiny bit of super glue, Like Larry says they will twist with balls of groundbait and will end up costing you money

Try hot melt glue (like what is used on top rings of rods) then it wont spin and you do have the option of using the top section again.

I would suggest getting a dedicated cupping kit, use araldite for a permanent fixture, avoid super glue as it can be water soluble
