Anyone recommend any particular model or make for weighing in on club matches on the commercials

Thanks

I have the sensas ones 42 quid they weigh in pounds and kilo's but they only go to 50lb they can be zero'd with the net which is nice

they are quite small so handy for places like Rolfs where your not sure about being over 10LB with a fish

the ones our club just ordered cost 90 quid, you can get them around 20 but we didn't feel they were strong enough for club use. We've not picked them up so not sure of the make.

Personally I hate digital scales - been robbed several times with these dodgy contraptions!

Angry

agree oneabung, our club (well me being secretary) purchased some including tripod and sling for £90.00,worst decision, had a lot of problems with people not happy with final weight shown on screen, takes a long time to settle (but fish will flap)prefere spring loaded everyday and a call by the designated weigh in person is final.looked at some salter scales and seen these in action cost about £130-170 but where do you stop,as mentioned for club matches all about final shout and if the same person calls no problem, the question is can you please all the people, answer NO.

Another one who hates them, seen some re-weighs that have come up very different.

Default incompetent

Most problems with digital scales are down to incompetent people weighing!
Best if the same people master their use, and weigh in with them every match!
Just a word of warning though, remember to keep a spare battery in the bag!! (the spare also needs to be in something water proof!)

Talking

We have 2 sets of Fox digital scales. Got them off the internet from Ireland and saved a few quid. The website escapes me but if you are interested I will find out for you. We have never had any problems and it has made weighing in a lot faster, especially my weigh as 6oz only takes a few seconds!!!!
