Default Question for Steve Lockett

Hi Steve, this has probably been asked before but can you make a DVD along the lines of the Korda Carp Underwater series, but for the Match/Pleasure angler?

Seeing how groundbait, feeders, cupping etc behave. Watching Roach, Bream, Perch etc feeding.
And all the other match/pleasure fishing type senarios.

Can you do? If so put me down for a copy.

Hi Scott/Justin,
watched one of the Guy Robb/Stuart Morgan DVDs last weekend and was impressed with the way they approached filming.
We have a couple of small cams like the ones they use inside the pockets on snooker and are figuring out how to use them. One idea we had was to ship one out on the end of a pole to film just sub-surface while another pole is fished with shallow pellets.

Plenty of ideas and hopefully bigger and better things to come, but at the minute we have to figure out how to sell more of each title. Starting to become difficult to justify what we do and the hours we put in for the return we get.

I imagine we will have some films going in a slightly different direction by spring next year and the success or otherwise of them will decide if we continue with a wide range of films, stick with the match fishing ones or look into a completely different way of operating.

Watch this space...

Ian, if you pay our advertising bills, you can have any films you want for free. lol

And to think I give you free advice on here, I'll have to come up with some way of charging every time I leave a post. pmsl

Other thing to bear in mind about shooting underwater footage is that we are usually filming in a commercial fishery, so visibility is an issue.
But we're working on it. Just don't expect too much too soon.

But you know that when we do it, it will be worth the wait so tell your mates...
