About time they got the presentation of this right!
Keith arthur does a great job trying to hold the thing together but is let down by amateurish presenting and directing,by people who have very little grasp of fishing whatsoever!
How difficult is it to get the right caption name on screen when the angler has it written in front of him!
wish i could have got mi hands on the bloke who kept saying "hes REELING another one in on the pole!
Time to give Tom pickering a rest too, with his never ending load of clich`es!
get on Tnerverves after Twhile!

its unusual for sky to cock its sport coverage up,but they do seem to struggle with this event

I thınk thats probably a lıttle unfaır, yeah ıt was a lıttle rusty around the edges but ıt wasnt a bad watch and Its all we have rıght now

I thınk the problem arose as soon as thıs fınal was splıt ınto two sectıons, gıvıng 4 end pegs sınce when dıd a peıce of strıng stop fısh movıng around. bankers should have been employed to stop the end peg sıtuatıon.

As for the commentry Mr Ford came across very professıonal and the female presenter coped quıte well although at one poınt I thought she was goıng to walk back through a pole the studıo panel should have consısted of a few more people to create a kınd of debate sıtuatıon when questıons arose, and I wıshed they showed rıgs ın more detaıl

It struggled lıke mad to fınd a bar on a saturday ın Oludenız,Turkey to put ıt on, only to have the owner swıcth channels halfway through to Man unıted Vs some pop group called the Kıeser Cheıfs but I found another bar got ıt turned on and contınued mt beer and fıshıng fest
wıthın half hour the guys watchıng the crıcket on the other screen where all demandıng the fıshıng be swıtched to there screen too I had all of the bar rootıng for Matty.

Well 5 hours and around 12 pınts later the bar went ınto a lull as we realısed Matt hadnt shone through, ıts funny how a few beers and a sports event can brıng a crowd together, I made a few good freınds today watched what ın my opınıon was a good tv prog and my efforts got most of Oludenız screamıng for Matt.

Great performance Matt shame ıt came down to the draw but you done us all proud, and to start off so quıck you had me on the edge of my seat.

Really enjoyed watching it. Thought Matty was going to win it the way he started off. Five hours is along time though and Mick fished really well and took full advantage of the end peg. I know Mick is a quality angler he battered me many times when we fished for Gaydon AC.
Well done Mick excellent result from a top class field.

I thought the production was quite embarising really , why did kieth feel the need to explain everything as if your telling it someone who has never picked up a rod lets face how many people who dont fish are going to sit there and watch that for 5 hours , i thought matt did very well and there was some very positive comments made about him
