i think the point being made by Abbo was that it is fashionable to follow a trend ...hydro is a great elastic and lots of people use it because they were told about it...i use red white and grey......but also use latex ..i also still fish with a rod when the fancy takes me..........everyone can have an opinion on this forum be it amusing or serious ......

still mainly use hydro as i prefer my elastics on the loose side but there are situations where a solid 12 or 14 is better

Judge ignore Abbo we are going to put him in the styles sunday and throw eggs and flour at him

This subject does revolve around fashion and right now Hydro is fasionable, for some reason the extra price tag makes hydro the Nike of fishing elastiocs, there are elastics out there better and cheaper, having said that it is good laccy and has its uses.

Im a big Diawa fan but feel they are ripping us off with this stuff I would rather pay say another fiver and have a further 2 metres so you could get two tops out of it, and there wasnt so much waste.

its my opinion that Diawa should make this high end accessory a little more user freindly and stop ripping us off with the well planned lengths its sold in, lets face it if anyone understands the length of pole top kits its Diawa the sell enough of them.

Default Lovely-Laccy...

Love the Diawa Hydro & I've found it lasts well, so you get value that way...
Have it in Red, Black & Grey...And find that this covers most Summer (What Summer?) Carping...
