Opinions Please
Would it be possible to have some of your opinions on the Groundbait Bowls and Frames that fix to your boxes by Korum, Preston and others before I go out and purchase one. The Korum one is on page 18 of this weeks Angling Times at £14:99p.
Cheers

waste of money....a bowl is a bowl and attached to your box it becomes something else to get in the way........buckets bowls and bait boxes ...tupperware would be put to shame

Personally, I always have a Drennan baitwaiter attached to a box leg. The type that holds three boxes and has a box-sized flat area for other bits.
If I'm using groundbait, I then have a standard Sensas bucket in front of the baitwaiter with just enough groundbait in the bowl and extra in the bucket itself, below. I can put the lid on if it starts to rain. Having the bowl resting on the lip of the bucket puts it at knee level, so is quite easy to load feeders from, or pick up 'fists' if I'm feeding by hand.
If I'm out in the water, I have an extra small flat tray that goes onto a rear box leg for other bits like hook box, water, sandwiches etc.

I have the Preston folding version, fits on the legs, doesnt get in the way, holds plenty of grounbait and folds down flat and takes up next to no room in the carryall.

I use the preston set 2 bowls bucket riddle etc
the hoop fits any box its excellent for feeder fishing as it makes for a great butt rest, I must admit I have only just started using this but as it fits on the right hand side of my box on the back leg and swivels round it doesnt interfere with my regulkar tray set up Iam now used too, also it can be pushed out of the way.
I also had a look at setting it up right in front of me between me and my nets and this works too great if you fishing long up in the water as everytrhing is to hand
The only downfall is the cost 34.99 but maybe long term it will be worth it

I messed around with different stuff over the years & have come to the conclusion, that you can't beat a 'Bait-table' which sits to my left & a Sensas Bucket...
As someone pointed out, those that attach, can become a nuisance in the course of a session & I don't bother with these anymore...Still keep a small 'collapsable' though, in case of wanting to knock a different mix together...
These take up hardly any room in the Baitbag/Tacklebox & sit there (Just in case)
