Default Where is everyone fishing this week

Hi everyone,

Where are you all fishing this week. I am going to Bank End fisheries and hopefully break the ton up in the water with a mixture of Ide and carps!!!

What is your target weight this week?

Probably Hallcroft, & would be nice to get 30lb-40lb depending where I draw.

Went past Bank End a few weeks ago & fished at a place you might know called Westwoodside, nice lake but was a very hot Saturday & most struggled.
Most interesting part of the day was when a friend of mine's landing net handle snapped with what he claimed was a 6lb bream in which then bolted & took his top section.
Within an hour the chap a couple of pegs up (& the eventual winner) caught the same fish with the top section still attached, he'd hooked the line loop that attaches to the stonfo (lucky for the fish that it was caught again really).
It was weighed seperatly & was 5lb 10oz so wasn't a bad guess ! & the lad who lost it in the first place would have won if he'd had the fish in his net... lost count of how many times that point got mentioned over the weekend !

I think i might give curborough fisheries ago, in Lichfield

But possibly even end up at pipehill just outside lichfield.

Wont be in a comp, just pleasure but will aim to catch around 40lb ish at either venue.

High Flyer lake at Ely. And hopefully I can compete with the venue locals including our very own Justin Case.
I need 200lb plus to get in the money.
Fingers crossed.
