sunburnt, how is that great town of Barrow doin these days , worked there years ago had a great time....didnt fish , no time...people there best i met....and i have worked all over...

it is doing good joe, you wouldnt recognise it now, loads of development, i like it keeps the town uptodate. still has plenty of late bars and drinking establishments for our enjoyment lol

the football, which i follow avidly, are doing brilliant, won promotion to the conf premier via the play-offs, and for about 3 or 4 weeks the whole town went Barrow AFC mad, which was great, havent had many weeks like that before, maybe the 1990 trophy final was the last time.

so things are good at the moment.

you wil have to get up here and throw a line out, contact the Furness Fishing Association to see if there are day tickets about. Some very big carp in a few of the ponds, esp Ormsgill Ressa,

i,d love to go bk up there, sunburnt....do a lot of fishin down this end and on the severn wen its open, round Bridgenorth, brilliant, fish every weekend with my local club, we travel upto 11/2hr from merseyside,........catch plenty at the week end......

as any of the nortwest boys fished elmhirst lake in lincoln if you are lucky like myself and your mrs fishes wot a place

hi going to a water that is about 15 to 20 ft deep and we are going to try the polaris pole leger float are they easy to use and wot is the set up anyone help please
