Thanks for your advice guys. Will deffo be giving it a go there soon. Just got back from Hartshill Fisheries Nr Broxton. Only found the lake by chance today and luckily had my gear with me so was able to catch the last couple of hours. Glad I did really as I had quite a few good roach and to top it off a nice 8-9lb common...all on 4lb line and my little shakespear match rod!! wahoo! happy chap again! Nice lake in lovely surrounds! Only me and one other chap there!

Hi Macca921 have you tried Newbridge farm at the back of Kirkby. Its a new fishery it has 2 lakes a match lake full of small stuff Tench, Mirrors, commons,skimmersand the odd 2 -4 pounder and a lake thats for bigger stuff. Had some good fish myself on both lakes. Well worth a try....... cheers Snarty.......

hi lads happy from bolton only happy when im fishing,been on bradshaw 4 today plenty of skimmers at 11m on pellet lost 3 carp werent expecting any,but managed to get one out on light gear,roach one a chook short on maggot or caster.
