if you wanna know anything about boldings just ask.match fishing is the best way of finding out what is what in this sport you can be surounded by very good anglers and you can take in a lot just by watching them.I have been fishing matches from the age of 10 and won my firest club season when i was 11 most of the info i got was from sitting and watching other match anglers at work

Thanks Ralphs1985, I hav'nt fished this venue before, but from my research so far pellet and corn are the most sucsessful and shallow from only selected pegs.
I have old info of match results and method addopted for sycamore & chestnut however we will be utilising Beech as well . If you know how the site is performing now that would be great.

If you can let me know the bans in force this would be great as i cant find this on the net and to phone during the day is a task which always seems to be relegated for completion 'next'. if you have the depths i can expect for each pool it would help me prep for the day and should wish to share your approach to any of these pools i will let you know how i do after the match having used them ( or my best interpretation at any rate )

i would want a draw on sycamore or chestnut you will need to take lots of corn about 10 tins paste and 1 bag of his 4mm.fish the paste at the bottom of the shelf between 5 and 7m and keep feeding each side by hand to spred it a little.feed the sides for about 2hours and you should see the fish when they turn up then have a fish from 1 side feed it then go to the other side.if the week leading up to the match is warm and if the fish are toping then have a go up in the water if you dont have a fish within 30mins go back on the paste.Rigs i use .15mm powerline to a size 12 b911 and 13 hollo for the paste and .17mm to a size 14 pr28 and 15 hollo for the sides.I would expect to catch between 80 to 100lb if the weather is good.there are alot of f1s and some big carp but they dont really show up in matchs but you should catch fish to 10lb and some nice bream.

If you want any more info let me know
