i've had a few bites this year Tony.....

I've always been a terrible drawer but since i've been running the matches i always get somebody, usually one of the newer faces, to draw for me and even i'll admit to sitting on a few good pegs this summer.

I'm in your club Lee (hence my signature) - only tried that once this year, and ended up on the one peg out of 24 I didn't fancy....to add insult to injury I reciprocated by pulling my hoppo the cock peg out. Think I'll have to go back to having the last peg in the bag - at least then I cop for the odd reasonable draw

hi my names Lee im from Rowley Regis in the West Mids.. Bet most of you dont know that place... I love fishing and am looking to try my hand at match fishing next year... So if you know of any clubs that are after new members let me know... I would also love to fish rolfs or somewhere like that and get a really good weight in... I fish Larford, Moorlands, Woodston Manor, Woodland View, Cudmore's and Boldings regulaly and also my local canals and always seem too catch.... Thats why i'd like too give match fishing a try... Also if you have any knock ups in the Midland area's let me know plz...By the way i'm 34 yrs old and just getting back into my fishing after 15 yr absence and how things have changed since then... Anyway advice or help would be appreciated...

For a moment I thought I had logged in to Alcoholics Anonymous or some other counselling group!!!! Anyway.....

.....I'm Stu and I'm a Londoner. I live in the midlands due to a work relocation. 35, wife, 3 kids, mortgage, job etc etc. I try to fish as often as I can and that's about once every fortnight at the moment. I prefer traditional waters, particularly rivers, but have nothing against commercials. Probably best described as an average club angler although I did a fair bit of team fishing in and around London 10 to 15 years ago. Could do with help to catch more as I seem to be getting worse with age! "All the gear, but no idea" comes to mind!!!

Oh and I have organised a number of matches in the past, including the Fur & Feather for this site the last 2 years.

Am currently very happy as my beloved Gooners beat Munchester United Inc on Sunday!
