I'm another Keith, but from Leicester ...... from my user name, you'll gather I'm new to all this fishing malarky ...... and I'm only 39!!!

I live near the canal, so have been there quite a bit during the summer months with some success, as has my 11 year old and partner (who also gives it a go!)

Anyway, got all adventurous today and went to a "proper" venue and had a go on the lakes ........ with success, although the partner got the big lad of the day ....... and lost a monster carp, along with my pole rig!!

i am a member of streiton ac who have just got the fishing rights to 50 pegs on the trent on branston golf course stretch fished well this weekend plenty of roach and big dace showing

Hi Pedipep - presume thats where you now drive through a new estate and the section is directly opposite the 'Sunken gardens' on the old Drakelow power station? (used to be controlled by Drakelow PS)

Hi all im Henry but most people just call me H.
Im 16 years old but just counting down the day until i can drive.
Fished all over in a number of big competitions (sensas challenge, midland angler of year, barston bowl, youthmasters, nationals) are just a couple to name.
Would class myself as a good angler but still a long way off where i would like to be.
