Hi,

I live in Bicester and fish most of my local lakes, rivers (Thames/Cherwell) and canals......also do a bit on the Commercials, Maver etc. and do a few trips each year to the Severn and the Teme for barbel. My next target is a massive tench, I know there are loads of great pits round my way.....anyone give me any pointers on which one to try?

Not very active on this forum but fish normally 2 times a week Sunday with Barnet &DAC and Wednesday at opens at Lake John Waltham Abbey. Also a member of Verulum (St Albans) and Ringwood&DAC and SalisburyDAC. I am going to South Africa from 3rd Dec returning 1st Feb 08. so happy to meet up in new year if that suits you. malcolm

Default venues

spoilt for choice round here
within 10 -15 mins drive from banbury there is drayton res, clattercote res, boddington res, stockton res, drayton golf (small pool in banbury bout 20 pegs excellent place) meadowlands, cracking bit of canal through banbury including the old alcan stretch
then the thames around oxford
so what do you fancy ?
