I'm Batters, I live near Reading, I think that counts as in the South. I used to match fish a long time ago when I was young and handsome and tore up the junior scene on the River Lea.

Then I found out what girls and lager were for!

Thats my neck of the woods.

I was also once young and handsome Im not sure where it went wrong though.

He's alright, he'll tell you how ill he is at the drop of a hat, but he's alright.

He's still fishing the odd match, mainly at the puddles in Essex - Mabrahams/Lake John/Tylers etc.

Its good to see the old boy is still putting a few in the net.

Which is exactly my intentions this coming season, After the investment I have just made in new tackle I sure hope I can find more time.

My only current concern is getting on the bank with everything still brand new, which is totally the opposite to how I used to be

and of course there seems to be a tendency to buy your bait from supermarkets now days, thats going to take some getting used to
