Default Disgorgers???

what disgorgers do you guys recomend? I have heard of a few different ones such as, slamo, standard plus(cant find these), browning, carbon, middy. this would be mainly to be used with eyed hooks. some as small as size 24-26

Do you make those hooks yourself? Surely you mean spade end hooks?

Default disgorgers

Make my own hooks, your funny steve. I dont have that much spare time. Im in Los Angeles USA, we dont have any match tackle here. Im using daiichi and tiemco fly fishing hooks, never seen a spade hook Im just fishing for fun. Ive emplyed some match fishing and ice fishing strategy even though we have neither. I will have to find and order stuff from over seas but here Thill sells the large middy combo disgorger, the small end of the one i had was destroyed by a plastic worm so I figured id order a few from across the pond . Im also not using poles with elastic.

For the smaller size and wire guage go for the standard plastic disgorger, for the larger hooks and wire guage go for slammo.

I just bought some slammo's they work very well but i thought they were just a bit to big, but happily i've just found they also do a smaller size at £1 each great bargain.

While we are on about disgorgers, i got a few a couple of weeks ago and the cut away is on the wrong side, if you hold a normal disgorger in your right hand and the fish in your left the cut away from this disgorger body is facing you, on these i just bought the cut away is on the other side!
Are these a left handed disgorger? Is there such a thing?
