Default middle or tidal trent

just wondering if anyone still match fishes the trent. had our usual jolly down to besthorpe this year and it was rank 12oz winning several blanks. last few years on the tidal the club has enjoyed some good sport with usually close to 10lb of silvers required for a win a plenty of 4lb plus nets but not this time. perhaps what i should do is rather than book well in advance book it a week before on a section that is producing..........any advice on who to ring would be great. cheers.

More upper Trent, but there is a very good series at Burton on the Coors water. Loads of roach and chub, and turnouts of 40 - 100 anglers.
