Default best method for bream.

i once again fished the coventry canal the other day as its right on my door step and netted a lot of perch and just 2 skimmers fishing 5 meters out just of bottom. the bream were in the swim feeding on the bottom but getting them to take my bait was difficult. any ideas how to catch the bream?

you need to fish on the deck with groundbait and caster and worm, fish either worm caster or red maggot.

If they are up in the water loosefeed caster and fish caster, try find the depth they are feeding if your missing bites come shallower if no bites or not many go deeper
