thinking about the catana bx medium feeder,cost around £60 does anyone know if its very good or not,or know of any others too recommend, upto £80..thanks

they are always for sale on ebay so ask why do people get rid of new breed rods if they are any good
i have had my daiwa 11-13 whiskers 3 heavy and 2 medium for between 10 and 20 years and still havent seen a better rod you can still pick these up second hand in their various upgrades -drennan,browning tips fit as well as daiwa and are sometimes cheaper

i have 2 heavy shimano tip rods an old 12-14 stradic and a new extra heavy 13-15 speedmaster and both are cracking rods for the job they do but the tips are an odd size and expensive and adapted cheaper tips dont feel right.

i am not knocking shimano rods i swear by their foat rods but the tip ones dont seem as good as daiwa or the prestons tip rods
