Yes m8 i clean my pole with water with a spot of washing up liquid and after i have cleaned it i use Mr sheen to polish it it also makes ot easier to ship in and out when raining as the water runs off the pole.As for cleaning inside the pole sections i just use a hosepipe and give them a good rinsing with the spray setting this seems to do the job. Or better still use pole protector bungs to stop dirt getting inside your sections.Hope this helps. No doubt though someone else might have another way of cleaning them.Which might be better but thats how i clean mine and been ok up to now.
