Default Results for Cob House affordable. Wed 3 June

Weather Conditions :- Hot and sticky

Number Fished :- 4

Results:-

A poor turn out to fish Pip's Willow pool, the bigger fish must have sacred the anglers off! Our fish farm technician Scott Jones took first place when he more than trebled the nearest contenders weight, fishing pellet and corn at 8 metres, with an alternative inside line also bringing some fish. A mixture of silvers, tench, crucian and carp for a total of 73lb plus.


1st Scott Jones 73 - 14
2nd Dave Twigg 24 - 5
3rd Michael Hendry 19 - 2
4th Barry Chesson 11 - 10

Next week's wednesday affordable is scheduled for Laugherne Island Pool

The lad Jones won't tell me his secret!! I do know he used nearly 5 pints of pellets though!!

He does seem to have summat special..... but he likes to let you know it too! He used fish for two youth teams and was sponsored I believe.

I might have a go next week - should be good for a laff ! Me on me old Shaky seat box and a float rod. Might even get the old split cane out and bend a few pins

Your last one next week is it?? Maybe I'll get some on me saturday opens then! Can't wait to here all the moans again.
