Hello All

The overall individual winner of the match held at
Broom Fisheries, Annan was Barry Lindsay from Cumbernauld, with a bag of 12.210 kgs. Barry was kitted out with a Daiwa TDP powertop 2 and
No 8 hollow elastic. He fished with chopped worm in the morning, starting at 7mtrs and adding a section every four fish. In the afternoon he switched to a paste which he made up from
Dynamite Baits Swiim Stim and fished at 7mtrs. He said that the first hour and the last hour of the competition were his best catching times. His winning bag contained 26 carp, 4 roach, 4 chub and 2 perch.
Barry has been fishing for twenty years and been actively competing during the last three. He said "I likes the Broom venue because it is open with lots of space. Despite being a commercial fishery it feels like a natural water"
