Kevin was on peg 41 in the bay and caught small roach and rudd to start before trying red maggot over chopped worm and caster to catch skimmers to 2lb.

Ernie was on peg 39 and after catching a few roach on bread switched to caster and caught skimmers.

Simon was on 67 and caught loads of squatt fish up until the last hour when he caught roach on hemp.

In total the 27 anglers weighed in 230lb of fish with....

11 weights over 9lb
15 weights over 7lb
23 weights over 5lb

not bad for a polluted canal in the black country...
