Saturday 11th of August saw Lucas College Road A.C. on the Birmingham-Worcester Canal at Stoke Works Bromsgrove. The winner was Redditch matchman Pete Newton who found a three pound Bream, together with Perch on pole and red maggots from the middle pound below the triangle, for 4-9-0, Fred Penn had a Bream in his catch of 3-10-0, as did, Paul Stroud with 3-4-0, fourth placed Tony Brunn had 3-0-0 of hemp Roach, fifth Phil Lewis 2-2-0.
