The open was fished on the Oasis Lake this week with 50 anglers all fishing the same lake.
The winning method was mainly maggot at 13 mtrs for fish to 2lb ,even though this is the hardest match it was still a fair match with all sections being won with over 46lb .

1 Darren Taylor peg 11 fishing at 13 mts with maggot was his approach catching steady all match for all fish being under the 1lb mark.He weighed in 87lb 15oz (daylight baits)
2 Steve Barraclough peg 1 caught on pellets for 79lb 3oz loss a few lumps but had a mixed bag of mainlky carp (preston inovations)
3 Ali Mcquire peg 6 caught on punched bread at 12 mtrs for carp to 3lb for a close weight of 69lb 4oz (misterton)
