Default C.C.C.C.AC winter league 2nd round tunnel barn canal pool

another difficult match with half the pool frozen over thankfully with one side ice free there was enough pegs to save the use of the dreaded ice breaker .
most of the field found bites hard to come by with even blood and joker struggling to temp bites
winner Paul Twigger pegged on the end of the island fished at 11 meters and fed little and often with pinkies.
alternating between red maggot and small redworm on the hook to temp a dozen F1s for a weight of 10lb - 6oz

2nd placed Leigh Betteridge (Leigh66) pegged opposite the winner weighed 8lb - 7oz swapping between worm, pellet and corn hookbaits. (see Leighs blog)

RESULT
1ST Paul Twigger 10lb - 6oz
2ND Leigh Betteridge (Leigh66) 8lb - 7oz
3RD Lance Glover (Curtains) 5lb
Andy Hobbins 5lb
5TH Mark Elton (Sumo) 3lb - 7oz
6TH Andy Wooley 2lb
7TH Mike Roberts (Canalking) 14oz
8TH Paul Clay 9oz

2 DNW
3 No shows

next round Top Pool on Jan 27th (roll on the summer and end this torture)
