Nice sunny start to the day odd drop of rain.
12 fished this open match run by Gone Fishing tackle shop in Hinckley.

1st 37lb 11oz
2nd 27lb 6oz
3rd 11lb 12oz

This open will be run on Sundays Draw 9am Fish 10am - 3pm.
All welcome.

Around 23 and 25,the carp seem to be in the bottom end of the lake on both sides.They were caught on pellet at the far bank on the pole.Sumo pleasure fished yesterday and had 11 Carp out on peg 58 top end of Kestrel. We could now do with a run of sunny days, Mallard carp lake has been producing good fish 3 night fishermen Caught well over the weekend with 5 doubles.

There is no need to book just turn up,anglers turn up about 8am if they want breakfast. Draw 9 fish 10-3 no nut baits everything else OK. Ground bait in moderation,barbless hooks,2 nets when needed.You'll find it to be a friendly fishery and a good lot of friendly anglers that make everyone welcome.
