Default 2 Results - Suffolk Water Park

Saturday 3rd May - M2
Every one of the 21 anglers present wanted to draw a favoured end peg ie
43, 57, 58 and 73. In fact 3 of those produced fish, especially 43 where
the winner came from but 73 which was also a 'Golden Peg' never had a
bite. In general M2 fished fairly poorly and perhaps the surprises were
that fish could not be caught up in the water although they could be seen
cruising about and that Colin Provins fished a great match from peg 52 to
come 2nd overall. Results :-

1st Darren Clarke, Dynamite Baits, fished the pole with corn and pellet
towards the corner from Peg 43 for 52lb 0oz 2nd Colin Provins, GVAC,
fished a small method feeder and corn from Peg 52 for 44lb 2oz 3rd Trevor
(Budgie) Davis, Sudbury, fished paste down the margin from peg 56 for 35lb
4oz 4th Bob Fuller, Viscount Tackle, fished the feeder and pole down the
margin from peg 58 for 35lb 1oz 5th Richard Watson, Nisa Waveney, fished
the feeder and corn from peg 57 for 22lb 14oz 6th Matt Dorey, Woodbridge,
peg 44 for 21lb 7oz

Monday 5th May - M1
We had a very close match with some very good weights for some of the 26
anglers on M1 today. We very nearly had a golden peg winner for the 3rd
time in 2 months as well, with just under 6lb separating the top 2 who
both fished a good match catching mostly up in the water.

1st Bob Fuller, Viscount tackle, fished a hard pellet up in the water from
peg 29 for 73lb 11oz 2nd Gary Alexander, from Ipswich, fished similar
tactics from peg 28 for 67lb 9oz including some large fish. 3rd Colin
Provins, GVAC, fished paste down the margin for 52lb 7oz but lost a few
fish in the reeds that may have cost him the match. 4th Stephen Cole, from
Ipswich, fished a short pole with pellet on the bottom from peg 16 for
45lb 7oz. Stephen included a lot of tench in his catch together with a
perch of about 1lb 8oz and a roach over 1lb. 5th Glenn Cousens, Breakaway
Tackle, fishing up in the water on a pellet waggler from peg 32 and
weighed 45lb 2oz 6th Graham Howe, Viscount Tackle, caught down the margin
and on the long pole from peg 41 for 30lb 12oz

The next match is Sunday, 11th May on M2. To book in ring Richard on
