Default Results for Broadacres Charlies 'Silver pool'

Weather Conditions :- Dry at first turning to heavy rain

Number Fished :- 17

Results:-

This was the 9th and final match of the season and aggregate decider. Going into the match Ron Butler had a clear 7 point lead over Royst with no one else in sight.
Although initially known as the silver pool the venue was known to contain a few carp and big chub and tench, and so the choice of hooks and line was most important.
Richard Need on the 'pipe' swim caught from the off with maggot at 2m and quickly established an early lead. After a slow spell he was eventually pegged back by Royst on the next peg and Andy Peters who started catching carp from the island 'rat holes'.
With Ron Butler stuggling at the quiet end of the pool it was Royst who stole the final honours netting an 8lb common in last half hour and a 2lber on the whistle.

1st Roy Ravenhill (Royst) 24-10-00
2nd Richard Need 21-13-08
3rd Andy Peters (Portway) 21-12-08
4th Andy Sharpe 18-04-00
5th Steve Harvell 8-05-00
6th Ralph Need 7-07-08
7th Mick Edwards 6-13-08
8th Bob Moorman 5-12-08
9th Kevin Evans 4-04-00
10th Ron Butler 3-05-04

So Royst won the aggregate by 2 points and also the Bonus peg.(loads of smiley face things).

Additional Info :-

Unlucky for Ron who led the aggregate all year long, but he had the consolation of winning the individual KO final over Robin Ivison.

Added by :- Royst (Adroit AC)
