Results Service is on a distinguished road
Default Results for Lake John, Waltham Abbey, Essex

Weather Conditions :- Heavy Rain the night before hot and very sunny on the day

Number Fished :- 25

Results:-

25 anglers were in contention today and this was anyone's match with the weights as close as ever...

Len Goulding, Simpsons of Turnford, peg 29, 54-8-0
Len started the match on the tip but this was short lived as he soon switched to his 13m ground bait line, there have been a few on this bank over the past couple of weeks but today needed a bit of sorting out with conditions flat calm it was a job to know what to do for the best, Len who has showed form all year has once again done it right but against the current flow of on form baits Len has managed to entice the skimmers and bream with a bit of chopped worm and caster in his ground bait, there were a few tench to bulk the final weight into the 50lb zone

John Dulieu, Viscount Angling, peg 26, 45-6-0
Second week back for the Viscount angling boss and records another second spot in a row, the back back again is holding the slightly better fish which in a match this close can make all the difference the carp were not in contention this week after yet another heavy down pour over the past couple of evenings this has upset things a little, John's 6mm pellet over micro is still doing the biz

Martin Amos, Elite Baits-Old Hatfield Angling, peg 33, 44-10-0
Martin has really had a dislike for this peg but today could see a change in this, worm to the hook and ground bait on one line and pellet on the other Martin has caught nice and steady all day skimmers and bream

Colin Bartlett, Lake John-J+B Tackle, peg 4, 43-8-0

Gary Miller, Van Den Eynde-Fox, peg 7, 43-0-0

Sam Hart, Princess Alexandra Hospital, peg 3, 40-10-0
