Here are the latest results from the Suffolk Water Park
Tuesday Evening Match - 3rd June

Lari got his tactics spot on fishing pellet up in the water to catch 18
carp for 53lb 1oz from peg 4. He was pushed hard though by Colin Provins,
an English International beach angler and member of Gipping Valley AC
fishing a method feeder from peg 26 for 47lb 6oz. The results were
1st Joe Lari Peg 4 with 53lb 1oz
2nd Colin Provins, GVAC, Peg 26 with 47lb 6oz
3rd Aaron Coleman, GVAC, Peg 12 with 26lb 13oz on the method feeder
4th John Dale, Waveney AC, Peg 24 with 25lb 4oz
Van den Eynde Senior Masters - Wednesday 4th June
There was a good turn-out for the match with 29 anglers on the bank. This meant using M1 and one bank of M2 so that each of the anglers had a lot of room. The weather was warm but the surface of the lakes was like a mirror which always makes the fishing hard. There were some good weights though, especially on M2 where Les Cook from Castaway, Felixstowe weighed in 51lb 8oz from peg 52 fishing a method feeder and pellet to get his name on the magnificent Van den Eynde Senior Masters winners cup for the second time in 4 years. Over on M1, peg 5, Nick Clarke from Gipping Valley AC was catching carp, skimmers and tench on similar tactics for second. The results were:-
1st Les Cook, Castaway, Felixstowe, Peg 52 with 51lb 8oz
2nd Nick Clarke, Gipping Valley AC, Peg 5 with 44lb 2oz
3rd Glenn Cousens, Breakaway Tackle, Peg 47 with 34lb 0oz (mostly on the pole)
4th Bob Fuller, Viscount Tackle, Peg 54 with 32lb 4oz (mostly on the pole) 5th Peter Binks, Walton on Naze, Peg 27 with 22lb 1oz
6th John Platten, Suffolk County, Peg 46 21lb 2oz
Saturday 7th June - Open Match - M1
12 people fished today and for once the wind was just about the right
strength, putting a nice ripple on the water - pity it was from the North
and the day was made tough by high waters levels and persistent rain that
has been falling for 36 hours now though! The fishing was pretty good
though for some people and it was a close match.
1st Alex Reynolds, Dynamite Baits, fishing a method feeder with red maggot from peg 3 who had 49lb 2oz
2nd Darren Clarke, Dynamite Baits, also on a method feeder with a maggot hookbait from peg 28 with 46lb 12oz
3rd Richard Watson, Nisa Waveney, fishing a method feeder with pellet on the hook from peg 7 with 39lb 15oz
4th Stu Mills from Ipswich, on a method feeder with a maggot hookbait from peg 27 with 33lb 12oz
5th Steve Scopes, Viscount Tackle, fishing pellet on the pole at 11metres on the bottom from peg 5 with 32lb 12oz
6th Bob Wessels, Dynamite Baits, switching between a pole and a feeder on peg 25 with a weight of 21lb 15oz
