Default HanKat AS Mon eve 21/08/2006

Walsall canal
Tipton/Wednesbury
Fished on Moors Mill Lane
4.30 until 8.30

Despite high winds the canal again fished well,


1st Dave McCall(Shakespeare) 9-11-12
2nd Rich Broomhall (Railway AC)9-6-5
3rd Tony Garrett (HanKat AS) 7-9-8

Dave was on peg 98 and caughts lots of small skimmers,roach,rudd and perch on squatt and pinkie both down the shelf and over against the reeds before having a 12oz roach on caster down the track late on to seal the win.

Rich was on peg 106 and added a rare for the venue carp of 2lb to skimmers caught on pinkie over groundbait.

Tony was on peg 109 and caught 30 small skimmer bream along with roach and rudd again on pinkie.

Next Match is Bank holiday monday 28/08/2006
draw 8.30 fish 10 till 3
£10 all in
no pike to be weighed
no pike to be harmed
no bloodworm or joker

Dave McCall fishing them Lee your playing with fire there mate. Don't expect to beat him very often. He's a great bloke and he has help me loads. Say hello to him for me.

First time he has fished one of the monday matches,he turned up,drew end peg and did the biz.

I don't think the end peg makes any difference with Dave and Rocco around.
