It fished real hard today, we were greated with most of the lake covered with fish on the surface it looked like they were having oxygen issues, you could have walked accross them at the small lake end.
I had a rough draw today with most of my section up on the fancied pegs at the other end, in hindsight I should have fished for the roach today as another 3lb and I would have qualified, instead I attempted to feed them off to make fishing for the carp easier big mistake as they didnt show and the usual last hour was non existent. I couldnt really compete from there but give it a shot, and quite a lot of people did not weigh and some did not catch .

 That's probably the worst result I've seen from Rolf's in a long while, and we thought we had it hard on Thursday. Unlucky Paul.

From this sites point of veiw they pop up all the time there is one at Rolfs on I beleive Sunday 28th that cheif is running there are still half a dozen or so tickets left

is that sept ?are you going as i have never fished it before but i know its supposed to be the dogs danglys?do you still do the opens at lake john,iv fished it afew times and i lost a carp there once which i had on for over 40 mins only to be told by colin who see it that it went over 25lbs it was a nice place to fish.i would like a try at the bottom lake that looks a bit fairer to me

I have had a few of them big carp 26lb being the best so far and 23lb the best on the pole the big lake is by far the best lake
I have booked for sept 28th at Rolfs but going on the current fishing Im in tow minds to be fair
