weight, one on the feeder and one on the pole.
1st Match
Sunday 5th October on Match Lake 1 Aaron Coleman won with 108lb 14oz
fishing a method feeder with luncheon meat on the hook. Aaron caught fish from the off and some of them were the larger 5lb and 6lb fish. He had a couple of slower patches during the match and the size of his fish dropped until nearer the end when he managed one carp of 10lb 14oz.
1st Aaron Coleman, Nisa Waveney, Peg 27 fishing the method weighed 108lb 14oz
2nd John Dale, Nisa Waveney, Peg 26 fishing the pole with pellet
weighed 73lb 9oz
3rd Darren Clarke, Dynamite Baits, Peg 7 fished the pole and the feeder for 61lb 7oz
4th Richard Reynolds, unattached, fishing a method feeder from Peg 3 40lb 9oz
2nd Match
On Saturday 11th October the match was again on Match Lake 1 and the
eventual winner, Ray Darnell, struggled for the first half of the match catching 5 fish for about 15lb on the feeder. That all changed when he switched to fishing a short pole and corn from peg 8. The more loose feed he put in the more the fish responded and he went on to win the match with 103lb 10oz catching about 85lb of that total in the last 2 1/2 hours.
1st Ray Darnell, Nisa Waveney, caught most of fish on the pole with corn on the hook at 6 metres from peg 8 with a weight of 103lb 10oz
2nd Aaron Coleman, Nisa Waveney, fishing the feeder and meat from peg 5 with 73lb 6oz
3rd Alex Reynolds, Wickford Angling Centre, fishing the feeder and red
maggot from peg 25 for 67lb 0oz
4th Stu Mills, Suffolk Water Park, fishing
the feeder and red maggot from peg 27 for 60lb 2oz. Stuart had a perch over 1lb in his catch.
