Hi John, I fished the canal just below bullers bridge on tuesday and it was very hard going, I caught some perch on the chop, but it was really hard work.

On the tackle front i managed to win the Dave Harrell 13/15ft ST rod for £43 +£7 p+p. I missed out on the daiwa Harrier 7m system whip it sold for £80 in the end almost as much as it was worth 25+ years ago, amazing to think really. There is another one on ebay at the moment i will try not to let this one slip away. How are you getting on with your normark searching? I noticed there are 2 on ebay at the moment, have you seen those?

I've just ordered £26 worth of whip gudgeon floats from marcifloats here on TA, apparently you and my dad fished with him back in your A4 days? Mark leach i think his name is. I've ordered the same pattern my dad asked him to make years ago, my dad has loads in his box, he gave me 1 to try out and straight away it was just what i was after for a 3-4 metre gudgeon whip float, He wont part with the rest he has in his box though! What are dad's for eh?

I've got plenty of interest on ebay for my Drennan rods, fingers crossed they sell soon. There quality rods but couldn't put a nail on it why they wasnt for me? Someone will get a bargain! Same as your TDR's whoever has bought them has got a bargain!

Steve, I need to get £70 mate. I have bought a tdx & need to fund another one if possible. as you say at £60 I will keep it as a spare. All 3 of my TDRs were single handles & I should have bought double handles for the 2 bigger ones for the feeder, lesson learned. The only thing I am looking for is another Normark Titan 2000, have you one hidden away. cheers John

hi mate just got your message buddy imk not fishing woodlane on sunday now because one of my bloody lurcher dogs has cut itself badly so have to be at vets at 10 am tommorow to pick him up im pissed off as i bought bait etc, life a haha.
I have just bought some reels mate but would give you £60 cash for it as a spare buddy and could pick up no probs.
The rods are great mate i was very happy with them. Is there any items that you are after mate, please let me know.
