Fished Spring. I had 1lb 12oz of bits. Winner had 4lb 6oz.
Not the greatest day weather wise!! spent most of the day holding on to my brolly. Caught them on top 3 with red maggot. Weather and wind that bad had to fish with a 0.8gram float to catch at 4ft deep, the wind and tow were too great. Winner fished the tip for 2 carp and 1 bream on corn. I finished about 6th place some either did not weigh in or left early. It is very,very exposed. Its up on a hill with no shelter from the elements at all, you can imagine what it was like yesterday in that weather!!.It is very well run but imo it needs to mature and in 2/3 years it may be a good fishery
