Fished Spring. I had 1lb 12oz of bits. Winner had 4lb 6oz.
Not the greatest day weather wise!! spent most of the day holding on to my brolly. Caught them on top 3 with red maggot. Weather and wind that bad had to fish with a 0.8gram float to catch at 4ft deep, the wind and tow were too great. Winner fished the tip for 2 carp and 1 bream on corn. I finished about 6th place some either did not weigh in or left early. It is very,very exposed. Its up on a hill with no shelter from the elements at all, you can imagine what it was like yesterday in that weather!!.It is very well run but imo it needs to mature and in 2/3 years it may be a good fishery

Didn't even know about it rob. You seem to find these things out so perhaps you could let us know in the future.

ratty has been fishing the winter league at woodland view rob but as of this weekend him,trev and bert are all back for larford. They all miss 7 matches throughout the year so there will be places for you at some of the matches. Don't forget to bring an extra £5 though mate

Will put your name as 1st reserve rob. Club back upto 25 members with guests queueing up at every match which is great although one guest didnot turn up on Sunday. Ratty wants to know when your coming back for a shot at the averages if your good enough thats if you can hack it after fishing in a weaker club(his words not mine). Just remind me a bit closer to the date about hillview mate

I'm just having a mare rob as you can see. I need a bagging session to get my confidence up but don't see one coming up yet. I need the incentive of taking a fiver from you as haven't fished for any yet this year which is just as well as I would be £15 down right now.
