if it's the langley cons water i'd go for breadpunch and caster mate liquidised feed and a 3 or 4mm punch fished just off bottom an inch or so. with the caster i'd lay on 2 inches mate and bury the hook. feed the caster down the track and the bread in about 21/2-3 ft of water.let me know how you get on mate!! tight lines!!

Hello, I see you have a match at Astwood Fishery in Sept.
I fished a match last sunday and won with 91-5-0 on budlia.( SEE ST DAVIDS MATCH RESULT )
My tactics were Pole at 4 meters in front of you, bottom of shelf , feed pellet ,fish corn, hard on bottom, 2 no10 droppers rest of bulk about 3ft up line, so you get a slow drop, flick pole stright out so float falls back on to shelf.
    14 elastic.
LINE2 up the edge, top of shelf
Feed this line from the off with a pot of pellet and corn, and leave for about 2hrs, before fishing it,
Put half a bag of their pellets in a bait tub, and add water, allow this to absorb,
so you end up with a paste, when you fish this area feed a small ball of this and 4-5 grains of corn, every cast. fish corn
Cast away from your baited area , then slowly drag it into place, 1 dropper and bulk well up the line, 4x12 float is ample with 0.15 line, size 16 animal hook.
Elastic 16-20, I fished with red hydro, top kit plus 1 section behind me, and hang on, had fish to 12lb.
I hope this helps , let me know how you get on.
