hello mate fished the stafford winter league match, drew peg 3 on tanners next too tim rowe on peg 4, i did ok and ended up 4th in section with 36lb 12oz (7 carp), very close in our section with a 39lb--41lb--44lb, did beat timmy though as he was givin me stick all day!!!! great angler.
good old downing did well up on woodys with 40 somethig pound on peg 10 fishing waggler and pellet, that seemed too be the way, every body as i walked round before start had waggler rods and tip rods set up. Just a handfull of pole to be seen. did learn alot from the match and can wait till 2 weeks time and were there again.
hope the weather improves and the temp rises and hope for some bigger weights. cheers.
