Hi Fella, From Barnsley i would go to Lindholme lakes the other side of Doncaster. It has a website for directions if you need them. There will be open matches on both days on some of the lakes but there is always plenty of room for pleasure anglers if thats what you want. I would probably feed micro pellets and fish either 6mm expanders or 6mm luncheon meat over the top as this will catch most things in the lakes. If the weather is fine you could fish banded 6mm hard pellets up in the water and feed a few 4-6mm pellets 2-3 times a minute and wait for the pole to be dragged in. Hope this helps.

hi tisher,where abouts you from,i run a small club in south elmsall,we are starting our year on april 19th,venues like candy corner,hayfields,sherwood forest,oaks sessay,etc,can let you have full venue list if you want.we go every 2 weeks and are a decent group of lads,cost for year is £93 and we hold 12 matches,this will include trophy matches of which there are 1st,2nd,3rd,big fish,past members,hope this sounds ok,pm me if you want any more info.
