Default Alders Fishery MK, Cracking!!

Had an evening session at Alders last night, plan was the Silver lake but they had some lads down from Leeds who were having a match so I ended up on the Match pool.

Got setup, put some pellets out and one on the hook and within a minute the float had gone!! I love it!! Started off with silvers & hand size carp not very big, then the big lads muscled in, I have to confess some of the bigger fish took up to 10/15 minutes to get into the net, I was using 3.6lb line with a 16 hook and they were doing their best to take cover in the trees, My elastic was getting a good work out!!!
I did lose two fish but it was a good learning curve, I have no scales so have no idea what weight the fish were so if you have any clues please post below.

I loved the place, had a cracking time, some pic's from the night with the time the picture was taken on my phone.(hope the pic's work it's my first time!!)

Glad you had a good time. I told you it was a diamond mate. A few lads on here have fished it and really enjoyed it.

I think it is £9 to fish the match or silver lake and the specimen pool is around £15(two rods).

No you can use any pellets but a lot of the guys who fish there regularly use the GOT 4mm sinkers as feed.

absolutely brilliant venue, one of the best in this area by a long shot, but beware of the walk back up the hill, my advice keep the gear down to a minimum.
P.S. there are some brilliant stretches of canals around that area to for those of you who like catching carp and bream out of the cut.
cheers
