Good story Keith, it was well grim at that top end , I foul hooked a 5lb goldfish and then in the las hour got two 8lb carp and lost two. Like you said, they were there, just not having it

Neil,

Only once before have I known Rolf's to be like that. Middle of Feb with Ice on the water.

I suspect they have become used to the pellet and associated it with danger.Perhaps the halibut pellet would have been better. Eric only started catching after stopping feeding pellet and feeding hemp instead. Interesting thought.

Been doing it since the start of the year really as a record of my poor performances. Lessons that went wrong etc.
