Default R.I.P. 'The Smurf'...
Only just found out tonight, that me ol' mucker Lee Murphy a.k.a. 'Smurf'...Passed on a few months ago...Last time I saw him was on Blythe Waters a couple of years ago...

Apparently he'd kicked fishing into touch again...(But I'd been missing a year so didn't know it)

First knew him, fishing the West Midlands Winter League, back in the 80's & we used to travel together, to the Opens at Huxleys & the Town Water...

Some of you will know him from Meadowlands...Absolutely gutted when I heard, as Lee was a sound lad...

Never forget, taking him to my old favourite 'Hidey Hole' at BAA Welford...Smurf settled on the end-peg & had a lovley mixed-bag of Stick-caught Fish, just one of those days that stand out in the memory...

One very sad DaceAce, anyone on here remember Lee??
