Its a sad state of affairs, hopefully the place will hold together long enough to see me out. Its our kids and grand kids I worry for. God knows what the country will be like when they get to our age.
Sorry I think I'm becoming a manic depressive.

when I was 16 I said I didn't want kids because there was nothing to bring them up for, it's no different now !

I have got to agree with a lot of what has been said , the country is a joke and is only getting better if you come from another country . I don't know why its called Great Britain as it is not so great to be British unless you like paying Taxes and then giving it all to the Bloody Foreigners..
I drive approx 400 miles a week I somehow cannot see myself being better off if this gets through.

Basically I think they should scrap road tax and stick an extra 5p on fuel.... then those that drive the most pay the most then there is no need to track our mileages etc.

I wouldnt be surprised if they decided to track everyone that it would be an infringement of civil liberties and challenged in the european courts...

Theres already far too much tax on fuel, 81.5% of the cost is tax. Have a look here, its quite interesting.
