Simon out of interest can you tell eveyone why they have gone from senior or trusted members to junior members and the number of posts have been changed.

I am not sure but it has something to do with allowing the avatars, Simon changed some settings to allow avatars today and when you applied yours it may have reset your post count to zero.

think simon will give us our old status back? noticed that the avatars dont work as previous as mine used to turn round and drop his shorts.

Here is what happened -

I had to move all the number of posts everyone had made from the old forum to this one.

But the database screwed up for a few people... couldnt work it out at first but then discovered that some people had more than one account - for example :

Kingfisher
and
kingfisher

the difference being the capital letter.... Growler you had that as well...

So the database conversion tool that I had written didnt anticipate this so thats the problem! I think it is corrected now for Growler and Kingfisher.

Anybody else who thinks their number of posts and user rank is incorrect please post into this thread and I will correct it for them.

Sorry for the confusion - I am a numpty! Was just too keen to get the new forum working so still ironing out the glitches!
