Dear Mr.Gordon Brown,

Patriotic Retirement: there's about 15 million people over 50 in the work force. Pay them £1 million apiece Severance Pay with these stipulations

1) They leave their jobs and do not seek another. 15 million job openings - Unemployment fixed.
2) They buy NEW UK cars. 15 million cars ordered - Car Industry fixed.

3) They either buy a house or pay off their mortgage - Housing Crisis fixed.

Simple, economy fixed.

The theory looks good untill you work out the true cost of that

if each of the 15 million over 50's were given a 1000 pounds that would equate to 15 billion
now you have to mulyply that by 1000 to get the figure it should look something like this

15,000,000,000,000

I worked that out to be a total cost of 15 trillion


Th UK couldnt sustain that kind of outlay and in fact hasnt got it Labour sold all our gold, unless of course Mr Brown decides to print more notes then of course the innitial 1 million value would be worthless. ( Zimbabwe effect)

The answer to the UK economy issue is simple its just been ignored

by 2010 the government promised to build 200,000 new homes they need to build them now

the cost of this would be approx £30 000 000 000 (30 Billion) thats build cost legal fees and land accusition

thats 1 fifth of what it cost to bail out the banks let alone all the other companies we the tax payer have chipped in for

that would have cleared up the homeless issue created a mini boom with jobs and money in people pockets, but most importantly curbed the super hyped house price increases which caused the problem in the first place,

Patriotic retirement is a nice thought but financially unworkable, and could you imagine how many over 50 foreign nationals we would have enter this country if that were announced

just my pounds worth, oh and it looks as if that might be fake now

well the answer is already out...............retirement for men and women has been changed i believe it is now or gonna be 68 very shortly. you know it makes sense

Justin, foreign nationals are flooding here now just for benefits because they are higher here than any other country, at the last count there was 2million illegal immigrants on benefits, if they only get £50 a week each that amounts to £100 million pounds a week, who said the country had no money ?

have you ever been through customs on the way back into this country couse if you have you can see the vast amount of immigrants comming into this country ,it is unbeleiveable someone has to foot their food and clothes bill, would we get the same in their countries ""I DONT THINK SO"" thats where our money is going
