Thank you lad's & lasses for the kind comments . I decided last year I needed some exercise & I think walking in the mountains is good for the soul as well as your heart

We are booked into a hostel in Fort William, Scotland at the beginning of March when we will be walking over this CMD Arete which is the ridge route up Ben Nevis, The highest mountain in Britain.

Meanwhile on the fishing front I have a few team practice matches for this years Supercup over the next few weeks.................

Judging by how the venue is fishing at the moment everybody will need practice or a stick of dynamite.

Fantastic Picutres Paul.... reminds me of some of the weather we experienced in the French Alps skiing a couple of years ago when we had a white out!

Good luck for March... at this rate it could be just as cold then!

We will have to assess the weather on arrival Simon, The CMD Arete is a dangerous ridge walk in bad weather. If this is the case we will have to take the tourist track with all the sandals & slipper merchants

I have no idea what your on about "spamming"

"Spamming is the abuse of electronic messaging systems to send unsolicited, undesired bulk messages"

"Usenet convention defines spamming as excessive multiple posting, that is, the repeated posting of a message (or substantially similar messages)".

I am not doing anything like that.

The link refered to the film hostel!
It was meant to be a joke about you staying in a "hostel" in scotland, thats all!!!!

My 1st post and already you want to ban me!!!!!!!
