hello mate, dispite all the stories it is still pretty safe. i only use a credit to fund my paypal account, and then transfer monies into my bank account myself. i have never heard of limits though. you will have automatic protection if you use a credit card. i know this doesnt help much, but dont be put off too much about giving them your details.
have they placed a limiit on your spending, or the amount that goes into your account? ... mark

Sounds like a scam to me, they have already got your bank account details, they have your security code from your card, plus an email address, why should they need your driving licence, utility bill etc, previously my limit on pay pal was upgraded, Paypal actually paid in two very small amounts of money into my account these two amounts then represented the code I had to punch in to upgrade my spend limit

Personal verification is legit it gives you a bigger limit without it you will only have a couple of grand limit it takes about 3 days to get verified working days that is as for them holding money thats a scam its a way of generating interest albeit small
