Default Mailing List Software

I am in the process of creating a database for my club which has around 200 members, part of that process would be to include Email addys so I can send our newsletter by that method, can anyone recommend a piece of software.

Dont use the auto one that is used on here as all it does is p1ss people off with stupid JUNK MAIL worst than the Post Office.

If i want to know about pole floats or competitions for stuff i'll look for it myself.

I HATE JUNK MAIL IN ALL FORMS....

I think you might find that hidden behind the junk mail is, Simon trying to promote the site and get more posters on here.

Hope the CARP bite as quick at Rolfs BRi as you did.

Just use your e-mail client and set up a mail list via your address menu, thats all i did both for fishing and work.

Still hate junk mail though..

Junk mail I also hate, but that to do with Angling is treated more favourably .
Should have also explained that I will also be sending the more traditional paper mail as well and would like to get all my info in one place, making it more secure if i retain it on a disc rather than a hard drive.

Set it up in Outlook is the best bet Brian otherwise you will have to buy a piece of software. Brian if you want you can add your club members to a group in the admin (so they dont receive TA emails) then you can use the software in the admin to send them emails.

Malc - if you dont want to receive our email updates (and I try to only send one a week maximum) then I can make it so you dont get them.

The problem is malc, that NEW visitors to the site might take what you call a joke/banter as being serious.
Then don't like what they read and not return.
If you are desperate for bites, then you can count this as another.
